Barry Kostibos, Varsity Head Coach

Barry Kostibos is entering his eighth season at Livingston and his second season as the Lancers’ head
coach. Kostibos spent the previous six seasons as an assistant under Bill Tracy
and was the team’s defensive coordinator for five of them. In addition to his
roles as head coach and defensive coordinator, Coach “K” works with the
offensive line and inside linebackers.
Kostibos has been an assistant baseball coach at Livingston for the past five seasons. He currently
teaches United States History and Psychology at Watchung Hills
Regional High
School.
Kostibos is a graduate of Villanova University
with a degree in American History. He also holds a Master's Degree from Seton
Hall (Social Studies Education) and Rutgers
(Elementary/Secondary Administration).
Kostibos and his wife Diane live in Florham Park
and have two children: Kevin (29) and Jessica (23).

Paul Cirlincione, Varsity Assistant Coach
E-Mail Coach Cirlincione
Paul Cirlincione is entering his sixth season on the Livingston coaching staff and his second as the Lancers’
offensive coordinator. Cirlincione also coaches the quarterbacks and outside
linebackers. He spent his first four seasons coaching with the freshman team.
Cirlincione, who coaches the boys junior varsity tennis team
in the spring, is a Health and Physical Education teacher at Livingston High School.
An alum of LHS, Cirlincione was a two-year letterman in
baseball and a letterman in football. He graduated from Montclair State
University in 2008 with a
bachelor’s degree in Health and Physical Education.

Jim Flakker, Assistant Coach

Jim Flakker enters his second season on Livingston’s
coaching staff.
Flakker currently teaches Physics and AP Physics at Governor Livingston
High School in Berkeley Heights.
He’s also a part-time lecturer at Rutgers
University where he
teaches general physics and X-Ray Astronomy.
Flakker was an offensive lineman while at Southern
Connecticut and graduated with a degree in Physics. He also earned
a Master’s Degree in Physics Education from Rutgers Graduate School of
Education.
Flakker and his wife Jessica live in Bridgewater with children Cadence (4) and Ben
(2).

Steve Kroeger, Assistant Coach

Steve Kroeger enters his sixth season as an assistant coach
at Livingston. Kroeger coaches the offensive
and defensive lines. He also works as the JV team’s offensive coordinator.
During the winter, Kroeger works as an assistant volunteer
coach for the Lancers’ boys basketball team. He also serves a substitute
teacher in the Livingston
School District.
A graduate of Livingston
High School, Kroeger was
a three-year letterman in football. He graduated from Seton Hall University in 2007, earning a bachelor’s
degree in Criminal Justice.

Mike Munley, Freshman Assistant Coach
E-Mail Coach Munley
Mike Munley begins his first season on the Livingston
coaching staff. Munley’s primary responsibilities will include being the
defensive coordinator for the freshman team as well as work with the
quarterbacks and receivers.
A Health and Physical Education teach at Livingston High School,
Munley coaches Track and Field in the Spring.
Munley is a former athlete and graduate of Vernon High School.
He then enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. Munley served in various
locations throughout the world during his seven years of service. He earned a
bachelor’s degree in Health and Physical Education for Montclair State
University in 2009.

Joe Sullivan, Volunteer Coach
Joe Sullivan enters his first season on the Lancers’ staff
as a volunteer coach for the freshman team. Sullivan will be coaching the
running backs and defensive backs.
A graduate of Livingston
High School in 2007, Sullivan was a
senior caption for the Livingston football
team and a varsity letterman. He also lettered in baseball.
Sullivan is entering his final year at Seton Hall University where he is majoring in
Secondary Education. Sullivan also works as a substitute teacher in the Livingston School District.
